Parks
Boise residents have 69 beautiful parks,
comprising over 2,000 acres to enjoy. Of these, 950 acres have been
left undisturbed in their natural habitat! Walking trails add to
our ability to view nature at it's best! A few of the most exceptional
Treasure Valley parks are detailed below.
Camel’s Back Park is located on Boise’s
North End near Hyde Park. It offers a spacious play area for the
children, picnic areas, playground equipment and tennis courts.
The Boise Greenbelt pathway
system links over 850 acres of parks and natural areas along the
Boise River. The greenbelt includes a 14-mile long, 10-foot wide
bicycle and pedestrian path.
Barber Park is located
in East Boise, upriver from Ann Morrison Park and is a favorite Boise
river access.

Barber Park
About five miles up river is the put-in place for raft and tube
